The rules, in plain words
These are the rules for using this site. We have written them the way we write everything else here, so you can actually read them.
Last updated 2 August 2026. If we change anything important, this date changes with it.
The short version: this site is free, you may use it for anything you like, and we do our best to keep it correct — but it comes with no guarantee, so please check anything important a second way before you rely on it.
By using Online Simple Calculator at https://onlinesimplecalculator.com, you agree to what is set out below. If you do not agree with something here, please do not use the site.
What you get
You may use every calculator on this site, as often as you like, for personal, educational or business purposes, without paying anything and without asking permission. There is no account to create and no licence to buy.
We do not promise the site will always be available. It may be offline for maintenance, or because something has broken, and calculators may be changed or removed at any time. It is free, and it is offered as it is.
No guarantee, and why that matters here
We take accuracy seriously. Every calculator has been checked against arithmetic worked out independently, including awkward cases designed to break it. But this is a free tool made by people, and people make mistakes — in the code, in the wording of a question, or in the rules a calculator follows.
So the site is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Please do not rely on this site alone for any decision that really matters. Check the number a second way — with the institution, the bank, the shop or the teacher involved.
In particular, nothing here is professional advice:
- Not financial or tax advice. The money calculators work out ordinary arithmetic. They know nothing of your tax position, your local rules or your circumstances.
- Not an official grade. The grade calculators follow common formulas, but every school, board and university has its own rules, rounding and exceptions. Only your institution can tell you your real grade, and its answer is the one that counts.
- Not a substitute for local knowledge. Tipping suggestions describe general customs in a region. Customs vary, change, and differ from place to place within the same country.
Our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, or from your inability to use it. That includes any loss of money, any lost opportunity, and any consequence of acting on an answer shown here — for example paying the wrong amount, or relying on a predicted grade that turned out differently.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some countries do not allow certain exclusions of warranty or liability, in which case the exclusions above apply only as far as the law of your country permits, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Using the site fairly
You agree not to:
- Do anything unlawful with the site, or use it to help anyone else do so
- Try to break, overload or interfere with the site, or gain access to any part of it you were not offered
- Send automated traffic on a scale that affects other people's use of it, such as scraping every page repeatedly
- Copy the site in order to pass it off as your own, or republish its pages in bulk elsewhere
- Remove or hide any notice of ownership or authorship
Linking to any page here is welcome and needs no permission. Quoting a paragraph with credit and a link is fine too. Teachers and students may use the calculators in class freely.
Who owns what
The text, design, layout and code of this site belong to its authors and are protected by copyright. Using the site does not transfer any of that to you.
The illustrations are byStoryset and are used under their licence; they belong to Storyset rather than to us, so please take them from Storyset directly rather than from here.
Your numbers are yours. Anything you type into a calculator, and any answer it gives you, belongs to you entirely. We claim nothing over it, and since it never leaves your device, we never have it in the first place.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to sites we do not run. Those links are there because they are useful, not as an endorsement, and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their handling of your information. Once you follow a link, their terms apply rather than ours.
Advertising
The site may in future carry advertisements, which is how a free site pays for its hosting. Advertisements will always be labelled and kept clear of the calculator itself. We do not choose or check individual advertisements, and showing one is not a recommendation of the advertiser — any dealing you have with them is between you and them.
Privacy
How your information is handled is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: the calculations happen in your own browser and the numbers you type never reach us.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. Where a change is significant, we will make that clear rather than quietly reword a paragraph.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
A few general points
- If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them continue to apply.
- If we do not enforce something straight away, that does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later.
- These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us about your use of this site.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you think a term is unfair, please write tohello@onlinesimplecalculator.com and say so. There is more about reaching us on the contact page.
